how to download & install the meta trader 4

when i start installing setup is demanding  server login & password i attached  the picture see attached file 

i was download the setup from https://www.metatrader4.com/en after install the setup is it is meta 5.

i have some indicators i want to plug with the meta 4 but i am unable to install the meta trader 4,

 please tell me how can i download or install the meta trader 4.

You can only download MT4 from a broker's website, for some years now.

We/you can download from the brokers' websites only, so use your broker's website to download/install and to support.
And please note that your Windows 10 or Windows 11 computer is having all critical updates (it may be necessary for installation).

check post #9 (for explanation how to install) and post #11 to download - in case you want to get some older MT4 build ("clean MT4") which may be easily updated to the latest build.

Press "Cancel" ...
And update your Windows 10 computer.

If any problem - ask your broker for support (because the support for MT4 is provided by brokers only for now).

It is what I found -

If  it is still asked proxy during the installation so it may be the following:

• your computer is on old Windows version;
• you are using Mac computer which is not updated;
• you (or your internet/local provider/network) are really having/using proxy;
• you are using some external VPS which is using proxy (AWS VPS and others);
• may be more.
  

read the following thread about the suggestions (if it does not help so sorry - you need to change computer or internet provider for example):
