The point is that the probability will be higher with OROPOR than OOOOOOOOO because the Law of Large Numbers will become pressing from the first shot.

A 50/50 chance is higher than 0 to 100. I didn't invent it, nature did.

It's like that elephant joke:

- What's the probability of walking outside and meeting an elephant?

- 50% - either you will or you won't.

OK, show a graph on which for 10,000 (ten thousand ) throws the line has gone further than 250 on the Y-axis.

You don't need to predict the SB graph, you need to use the statistical properties of the sequence.

And what would that be called? Prediction based on probability theory.

The generator is guuuuuuuuuu and the coin is a completely different thing))

Lazy to use the generator, then sit back and flip a coin

While the woodpecker is chiseling away at the coin, I wrote a short program, which is exactly what you wanted:

The CSV you wanted is in the trailer, the program is here (you can't attach the C-sheet, so it's like this):

Sorry for the indiscreet question. Don't you need to free up memory at the end?

Such realisations are rare, but not impossible. But how are you going to make money on this? Whether the graph has reached some value on some finite sample or not - it does not say anything about its further fate.

Assemble the series and see what you get. An ensemble and a single pass to infinity are different things, and a single can of course fly to infinity, which cannot be said about the aggregate result.

Good article

Assemble the series and see what you get. An ensemble and a single pass to infinity are different things, and a single can of course fly off to infinity, which is not the case with the combined result.

Good article.

Too many letters.

Good comment by A. Gorchakov on smartlab about this text)

Funny criticism of Taleb in the commentary.

Taleb's trading results are well-known, he runs his own hedge fund and runs it successfully.

Who is "gorchakov" in trading is not at all clear....

He writes there that he mixed up with another book, and that he has not read Taleb.

He writes there that he got mixed up with another book and that he hasn't read Taleb.

Ah, well, then it's even funnier.

Below the comments he hasn't read...
