And at what speed will the HDD volume, say 500gb, work, if spinning speed will be 5400?
I have not even seen read speeds measured for HDD. Probably, because it is unpredictable. And when defragmentation is required and you don't do it, you're screwed... the lag... ...so bad.
Often there is little or no hardwiring if the RAM is 8 gigs or more. Especially since 5400rpm is almost unheard of, and 7200rpm is usually fine.
No, the frequency does not change.
As far as I understand, it starts trttling only at 90 degrees. My temperature is about 35 degrees without load, when I turn on stress test it gets to 65 in a few minutes, and then slowly goes up to 72-73 degrees. CPU frequency - 4280, memory frequency 2390 all the time, changes - in units.
Nah, I see that TDP 65W is probably the correct maximum TDP at full load. The error is hardly more than 5W. And with the fan - same thing, TDP - 95W is probably correct, the error is hardly more than 10W.Tomorrow, hopefully my eyes will get used to the freaking Win10 interface and I'll put MetaTrader on, maybe I'll get to the optimization as well.

I don't understand what the fuss is all about with the stone. A good video card will increase the speed of optimization many times over. There are practically the same regularities as in mining. You can change nothing at all, except for the graphics card, and add more RAM.
I went to your profile - I thought the man had already posted an article about optimization using OpenCL - and there's something not...
So, do you really write EAs for video cards?
You need an SSD of at least 250. More is better, as 250 is really not much.

Temperature went as high as 81-83, registered maximum 87 !
CPU fin temperature - got warmer, but still can be held by hand without problems.
A lot, and although according to monitoring data - frequencies don't change, but it seems that trotling is starting to turn on (values in "Gflops" column to the fifth pass - decreased by 10%).
It looks like concurrent work in Explorer - eats considerable part of resources, I was simultaneously reading what some values on the Internet, and processing power, as I see - was falling too. Only the last three passes - I haven't touched the computer at all, and the processing power (and temperature) has stabilised.

I'm not good at such questions, but it seemed to me that the answer is there.
It makes sense to put the %APPDATA%\MetaQuotes folder in the partition root or on a partition of a larger size. Windows has a limitation of 255 characters for the file path. I have a full path to the MQL5 folder consisting of 88 characters. When testing, the terminal copies the history by the number of local agents, which increases the size of this folder by several Gbytes.

i say at once tester in optimisation mode fries 1v1 with linx ! cooler in a dump, if you will again be guided by TDP in a shop, look for 135-150W models) or buy that advise knowledgeable exactly, and not with dual-core linxes)
RAM disk, download Radeon RAM for testing, there is a limit on the size created, if everything fits you can buy the normal version
It works like this - you start the program, create a disk, put MT portable with the necessary accessories on the disk, preferably immediately download the entire history and save the disk image to a file, the next time you want to open the ready-made disk image, add the necessary Experts, etc., immediately link to a folder for ease, and Start button in MT.
