Here is a comparison of the forex distribution (in blue) with the normal distribution (in red).

You see, I even know where these materials are taken from. The conundrum now is different, how to make everything fit nicely under the red line.

What for? To do what? Or, as they say in Poland - For what?

It's simple. Throw out everything from the data that's ugly and leave what's beautiful. Most of the data is discarded anyway...

Or just draw for yourself what you want to see and work with it successfully to make future beautiful BPs out of this noise)))

What does that tell you? Think about it.

What's there to think about, the whole internet's flooded with this stuff.

Renat Akhtyamov:

Stop laughing.

Here's the answer:

Renat, can you at least explain what kind of weed is being smoked here that gets them so high on normal distribution? Maybe I'll get high, too.) Yeah, and where do you get it? When I ask where to get it, everyone keeps quiet.)

Yuri, I'm out of the loop.

I got a kick out of leptocurtosis, but a long time ago.

Currency pair, what more can I say?

I drew charts and showed you that one distribution overlaps the other.

I asked a question - what is it?

I wish someone would answer, I wish someone could explain or repeat the same chart with an ordinary insider....

They have one grail.

They smoke and rejoice in the unknown...

Images from Alexander's file EURUSD_Erlang_1.csv. This was done: (ASK+BID)/2. After conversion to pips, a fractional number was added for better plotting, i.e. 52.5 pips instead of 525. The upper chart is in normal scale, the lower one is in logarithmic scale. There is no parabola. Yes, I also removed the zero peak (it was too big, its frequency was 70811).

I don't care if you clean it up, you won't fix it by deletion, exponent is not involved, and all kinds of threads, thinning of ticks is also of no use, etc., etc.

He who laughs last laughs!

Renat Akhtyamov:

You don't have to clean it up, you can't fix it by just deleting it.

So do not suffer in vain every time, I propose to immediately draw a nice picture what you need. ))
