Strange that you, as a programmer, don't consider using great game cards for trading. OpenCL support in MT5 went to the next level a long time ago. Even my poky HD7950 3Gb does me a good job speeding up some heavy calculations by 35-100x compared to CPU. Now I'm looking at Vega 64. Not for mining, of course.
Although, I've mined some crypto and zetkesh, I get 0.20 - 0.30 mBTC per day with CPU+GPU.
