BRENT - page 3

Dmitriy Skub:
Here you go.

Oh, my God!

You're so good, and the terminal doesn't freeze?

Or do you only save Brent?

prostotrader:

How good of you, and the terminal doesn't freeze?

MT5 has CopyTicks function, which allows to get tick data from broker's server.

The data is up to date from about mid-2016 as far as I remember.

The time is the same as in Quicksilver. Apparently with the stock exchange one as well.

About the terminal - it became impossible to overload the quicks during the session after ordering tick data. Data loading blocks connection, data is loaded again on break, etc.

There are no such problems in MT5. But there are others)

Dmitriy Skub:

Yeah, I'm building a house, I didn't think it would be this stressful :(

Dmitriy Skub:
Here you go.

Thanks, I'll have a look tonight.

prostotrader:

What language will you be programming in for the Plaza?

I like it better in C# but I can also do some C++...

How do I know what time it is and by how many msec it differs from some "world time" even without regard to time zones.

According to this data, the start of intensive trading started at 23:30:04.149

on my dedicated server in the Netherlands from another very fast broker the price change started at 52=20190709-20:30:04.171

the data is from a FIX package

Forget about the time in MT5, it is not synchronized with the exchange core in any way.

Yeah, I'd be all for that.

Is there any way to get the logs from SPECTRA itself ?
