Profit percentage for the week - page 7

Myth63:
You can wait for the situation to become clear, so to speak, and earn good money in just 1-2 days.

I disagree.

IMHO:

You have to measure it.

Only after how much time depends on what intervals you play.

If a short-term game, it is possible to sum up the results after a week or a month.

A medium term game, for example a year.

And of course the long-term game, write a will to your grandchildren to check your positions when you give up. ;)

ANG3110:
It is quite realistic to get 5% per week even with very simple methods, such as an averaging tool that does not close when you are in deficit. Like a channel in the evening and you go wall-to-wall, and if you go against it, you average in 50-100 points. With a risk of ca. 15-20%, 5% profit a week is almost guaranteed. But of course this is until you hit it against a long trend and you don't get stuck in a stopout. But you might be lucky and you'll hold on to some bad pairs like GBPCAD for a year.

I would not try to use averaging at such cross rates, as you cited, after all, both currencies are raw materials and they are not very subject to motion in the channel.

Sepulca:
For two to three per cent of traders it is realistic. For 90% of traders unrealistic.....

For such a percentage, of course, it is realistic, because they are the most experienced traders and they know what's what and will not go against the trend with the whole depo.

yosuf:
Ready, because it's only about 15% of the profits you make. Do you want to make more profits without risking 15% of the profits you make? Then, Forex is not for you. Note, you only take the risk, but you never lose. And the absolute drawdown is not more than 2% of the possible profit. Are there other better options? Understand that this drawdown is obtained as a result of the funds received from the market itself. These are not your funds. A large drawdown is a harbinger of large profits. Remember: no drawdowns, no profits. Trading without drawdowns is the exception rather than the rule.

Isn't margin call scary anymore?!

Isn't margincoll scary anymore!

Scary, but need to apply ways to avoid it if possible. Since coming to Forex I have lost 3K blood money, with the first 2K in the first month of manual trading. but I think I have gained experience to slow down the rate of funds decline and then maybe think about earnings. While developing an antidote to NZD/USD margin call from 01 01 12 on D1:

Is there a history of real trading? I recently tested ylang.so he showed me for 2 years 1579%profit, and in real life for 3 weeks lost, how can it be?

I am not surprised. If it had lost in a fortnight on your test, and showed 1579% profit on the real account, that would be a question.

paukas:

That's not surprising. But if you had it in the test and it failed after two weeks and showed a 1579% profit on the real, that would be a question.

Ahaa)) That would be so much fun))

I don't care about the profit percentage, the main thing here is to bring the risk percentage as close to zero as possible. If the risk is zero, then trading 1000 lots per trade and 0.1% profit per day is enough (for me it would be enough for sure))))

So what's the problem - money for a ruble deposit in VTB. 0% risk, 0.1% profit per day - you don't trade on weekends.
