France's richest man Bernard Arnault has decided to become a Belgian national
Bernard Arnault, 63, the head of LMVH, the richest Frenchman, has decided to become a Belgian citizen, Radio France Internationale reports.
According to La Libre Belgique, Arnault has applied to the Belgian parliament's naturalisation commission. The billionaire confirmed the information, but said he had no intention of avoiding paying taxes in France.
"His dossier will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis. We now have 47,000 of them," the Belgian official stressed in an interview with the publication. La Libre Belgique notes that although Arnaud resides permanently in Paris, he has property in Brussels.
As the businessman's communiqué notes, his company Groupe Arnault is involved in investments in Belgium. "Mr Arnault has decided to apply (to the naturalisation commission) in order to develop these investments," the press release said. Many attributed the billionaire's decision to a desire for tax evasion after the Socialists came to power. French President François Hollande intends to introduce a 75 per cent tax for citizens whose income exceeds €1 million a year.

О. It's been a long time since anyone has been blown up or shot with special appreciation. No need to quietly cut pensions for the poor.... By the way, they say schizophrenia sufferers often have an exacerbation in the autumn.

2820 may ... well that's so .... +- 20 is not essential, you have to be very careful during the day to make a decision on the Euro. It could be anything.
