how much does a profitable system cost? - page 9

odiseif:

I will never believe in those signals that are traded because they will sooner or later be lost because of the masses of people who trade on the same system .....

I already said in the next thread - the industry is overly mythologised.

Forex is an inter-bank market. Banks do not need trading systems.

VictorArt:

It's been working ever since.

Right, it's working. It only drains, but it works .

"A steady drain is better than a steady profit."

Swetten:
"A steady loss is better than a steady gain".

No, it doesn't seem that way. I think that's what it says: "A steady drain is better than a steady profit".

:)

PS which doesn't really change the point.

"A steady drain is better than a steady profit" (c)

The author's about to come in and vacuum.

joo:

No, that's not what it sounded like. I think that's what it says: "A steady drain is better than a steady profit".

If the loss is reliable, then all is well :)

A stable loss is more important than a stable profit :)

Mischek:

The author will be here soon, he'll be hoovering up

Why - you've already mastered the art of inserting advertising links instead of me.

Get to work - I won't bother you :)

Swetten:

Yeah, you're right. :)

Man, that's a hell of a thing to say. :)

Nah, it was different:

Ещё раз повторю: "прибыль ничто - стабильность всё".

It's right there.

But that's not for the sake of flubbing, it's for the accuracy of the quote...

Mathemat:

No, it was different:

It's right there.

It's a pity I can't reach Ilf and Petrov in the number of quotations - I should have been a writer much earlier :)
