Hello!
Does MT4 read volume data files with .csv extension ? Or should I make a converter?
Here's how to work with files https://book.mql4.com/ru/functions/files
https://www.mql5.com/ru/forum/105042 - supposedly it can, but only with ticks...
https://www.mql5.com/ru/code/8658 - and preferably with any timeframe...
Using frequency of ticks instead of volumes is a pampering, imho...

or should we go to rosh or komposter?
I want to use real indicators like Chaikin for volumes ...
You can read anything. The only question is what to get.
get an hst file in the histories folder with volumes, e.g. GOLD60.hst
then, with the server switched off, check it with volume indicators...

Have you checked https://www.mql5.com/ru/code for a ready-made solution?

tried it e.g. https://www. mql5.com/ru/code/7754
It implies that MT4 can also load such files with . csv I tried it and it worked.
However, it is not clear whether all record formats are available.
Dear Vinin, could you take what you think is the right line and colour it with RSI in four (8) colours.
Maybe not RSI. It's the first thing that came to mind. It'd be a fun toy. Like childhood, adolescence, adulthood and old age.
Or width. Thanks for listening.

Colouring is not difficult, but you also need conditions
Although if you colour in based on indices, that would be really fun.

You're more experienced than me, you'll pick the best ones. And in the settings, leave both of them, that's all - let each of them
plays however it wants. Perhaps the width would be more correct: more than a hundred, less than zero and at least two periods along the way.
Made a pretty cool indicator. It's not finished yet, of course. But it builds regression on the main instrument on the basis of data from the other one. Sometimes it works correctly, but more often not.
May you have some ideas how to use it?
On the picture there are two regressions one is normal, the second (red) is not
A horse is a horse in Africa. It's called a pony. It's not harnessed, it kicks.
But it's got character, judging by the drawing.
Ugh, zebra, zebra, zebra.

I wish. It's just a good drawing.
