google also filters very heavily on geo-targeting. even if it is in .ru, the results are different from country to country.

Not only politics - I myself was surprised when an acquaintance could not find the pinout old transistor Pxxx, it turned out that the friend sought only Yandex and the first 2, 3 pages received in response to a query only ads for sale and any crap, I used to look for google, and in the first 3.4 answers search engine successfully came to the right sites

There! That's what I meant. Killed myself yesterday looking for a gas control diagram for a cooker. Bare 6 page adverts, disconnected from the essence of the query. Google is much better, you can find something, but not great either.
 
The search results depend equally on the essence of the query and on the search engine. Last year, I searched for an essay on accounting (I don't remember the name of the topic) on Google, and the first few pages of the results were not just advertising, but there were links to hot videos with female accountants. Anything but the right thing. At the same time yandex gave the topic of interest on the first page for the same query. Maybe google doesn't like me... Now I always search on several search engines.
