Yes, very similar to Experience III. However, the coil has to be wound exactly the way shown on that website. A coil with a toroidal core (transformer) as in the video clip would not work here. We can assume that this ring transformer is the coil, i.e. the turns in it are perpendicular to the axis, and actually represent the core of the "transformer".

If the frequency is high, the second transmitter coil can be at a considerable distance from the receiver coil.

It's simple, when you put your hand through the black curtain you can see that the hand is male :-), then it's easy to guess :-)
