1st - determine the medium-term trend.
The 2nd one is to trade only on the trend. Entries - pullbacks and rebounds - at least 1/2 of a candle's average move. Exits - mid-candle's stroke.
The drawdown will be only if it is against the wind. Downwind - the drawdown will disappear on its own over time.
This is the strategy I followed in 2014.
