Prival-2:

it will look different. And this type of graph has been known for a long time. No gamma functions are needed.

And it looks like this

>

This is a Renko chart.

Except that you cannot correctly plot it without the realtick history. But it seems that the developers have promised to finally build the history.

So we wait, I have been waiting for 7-8 years.

In 7-8 years, you could have already studied and written MQL.

You don't say.

Are you sure I haven't studied and programmed in MQL? ....

So for your information, I'm a competitor in the first ATC championshiphttps://www.mql5.com/ru/users/Prival

32nd place and 15% profit.

Maybe you are a better programmer and know more, I admit it.

Let's check it out. Small technical task. In MQL we need to write a program that builds Renko chart with the size of a brick equal to 2 and test the simplest oscillator on this chart.

green - buy.

I have already made one and posted the results here https://www.mql5.com/ru/forum/152354/page3#980354

Would you mind repeating it and testing it in MQL?

About the championship would be appropriate if the prize. I can also tell you tales.

I have a Renco indicator for candlesticks.

I have a candlestick Renko indicator with built-in calculation.

Even with brick optimisation built in.

If you need it on ticks, you have to write ticks and build a tick-box renegotiation.

You can do it all but you will have to pay).

Jobs in freelancing do.

I.e. the link to the championship is not an indication for you that I know how to program and know something. This is exactly what you were trying to attribute my ignorance and lack of skill...

Zfs:
In 7-8 years you could have already learned and written MQL.

2. Renko on candlesticks .... is a misunderstanding of what is being asked. Even if you were Harry Potter you can't make bricks the size of 2 ticks out of candles. Read the terms of reference carefully...

3. The ticks collector has been available and written for a long time. Part of the code for me on special order wrote the linker https://www.mql5.com/ru/code/7777 can personally confirm the date of the post note 2006 https://www.mql5.com/ru/forum/25713#comment_878909

4. But the problem is that I cannot use collected ticks in MT5 tester and test my strategy on this data, I can only use real time ....

So I know what I'm talking about. And my ToR, although brief, is very difficult and almost impossible to implement in MT
The work described above is kilometres of code with a bang on the output....

I gave you a link where it's done easily and simply, from the beginning of writing code, to its testing in 1-2 minutes ...

Don't believe me ? here is a link to a video,

how to program such a robot,

the only difference in the testing settings is to choose not a candlestick, but a Renko with the right size of a brick ....

And you get a picture like thishttps://www.mql5.com/ru/forum/152354/page3#980354

I do not want to pay for the work I have done myself long time ago. But you could show the class and rub my nose in it, like I couldn't.... but you are better at it...

You shouldn't. The camp is much more our man than you might think. Or are you used to judging people by their ratings? Do you know why Sergei has one?

I had to reregister again in order to finally say thanks to Renat. Privat is much more our man than you might think. Or are you used to judge people by their ratings? Do you know why Sergei has such a rating?

Thanks for the recommendation ))

Just want to get back to the topic of the thread. Speed we all know its definition is way divided by time. Usually it is km/hour etc. Here there is no kilometres, there are ticks. It turns out ticks/unit of time.

On the previous page, yosuf: there, the formulas are twisted + gamma distribution is added there.

But you can do it differently, just look at this graph from a different angle. And if you imagine the graph as Renko, it turns out that speed = number of bricks per hour, as a brick is nothing else but the distance travelled in ticks, by adjusting the size of the brick you get the analogue of cm, km, miles .... something like this

P.S. The reason for the low rating is lying here.

If you have an MT4, you will get the eternal ban. I just had to register again, what would finally say Renat THANK YOU.

artmedia70:
You're wrong. Privalm is much more our man than you might think. Or are you used to judging people by their ratings? And do you know why Sergei has it?
I'm not judging anybody, I'm just provoking a discussion.) Rating and combat merits have nothing to do with it. It was about the impossibility of the possible.

I hope I was able to show you that the impossible is possible :-)))

All you have to do is take a step to the side.

1. I don't see the connection. So the championship leaders are the best programmers?

2. I have my own tasks, I don't trade too much information on ticks.

3. I do.

You may write a tester for your own strategy. And the interesting thing is the tester has ticks, i.e. all the information is there and the output may be the result - all depends on the program being tested.

4. If you run it through the tester, taking into account the costs of trading, I am sure there is no profit to talk about in such a strategy.

You're the one who said it was impossible. Don't get on my side of the barricade).
