If you know which way to go in the first trade, you may use more poppy indicators - HP or Bollinger, they show a shitty direction, but the channel is ok, if you know which way to go in the first trade, when you fill the channel crossing the price.

I would also say about Bollinger, they show where it is statistically more profitable to enter:
