Golden Boy - A trading strategy for XAUUSD (gold)

Entry rules

1. Wait for the blue and red MACD lines to cross (upwards for buying / downwards for selling).
2. Wait for confirmation in the form of a fresh colour change of the Slope Direction Line.
3. Always wait for the close of the candle, which caused the signal.

Stop Loss and Take Profit

• Take Profit is fixed and equal to 20 points. Stop Loss is set below / above the nearest local low / high.
  
• Exit the position if the Take Profit is not taken, and the MACD lines are crossed again against our position.

The rules of the Golden Boy strategy are very simple, but still give good results. In fact, the entire system is based on the moving averages crossover. And if on normal currency pairs this approach would lead to losses, in combination with the Renko charts and the sharp nature of gold movements, we have a stable tool for making profits intraday.
