Do not run MetaTester.exe unless you intend to provide access to the tester services to third party testers.

The terminal runs local copies of the tester (metatester.exe) and then connects to them, distributing tasks.
The testing is done by individual testers and the terminal only manages them. Each local tester opens local port (on interface 127.0.0.1) with random password to connect to it:
The local firewall does not block access to the loopback interface (127.0.0.1) within the same computer.
