Default Chart Template

I would like to stop my MT5 terminals from displaying Tick Volume on every chart I open. Presumably I must edit the default chart template but cannot find it.

I have waded through Help Topics where it is said to exist and it is said that it can be changed.

You need:

1. disable the display of volumes on the chart
2. right click on the chart - 'Templates' - 'Save template' and enter the name 'default.tpl'

I checked - in build 3245 this method works.

as Vladimir says, the default template does not exist until you create it.
