NEED HELP! I couldn't find where to download MT4.

Just now I want to download MT4 on this page.

https://www.metatrader4.com/en/download

After I donwloaded it and Installed it, It's MT5...

I DO click the DOWNLOAD MT4 button but it's MT5 QQ

If any other place i could download MT4?

Or MetaQuotes don't allow to download MT4 anymore?

Installation error - MT4 download is installaing as MT5 -=> very very odd!

The support for MT4 was stopped long time ago. It means the following:

  • it will not be any key improvement of MT4; it will be just error fixing only;
  • we can not download and install MT4 from this mql5 portal; we need to go to the brokers' websites to download and install MT4 (because the brokers are still supporting MT4).

    Just now I download the file and follow the steps you said.

    I could open it, but as the screenshot it seems I couldn't connect to the sever right?

    It has been years since you could download MT4 from Metaquotes. You can only get it from a broker's website.

    A lot of years since i hear that metaquotes will not release any updates to mt4....it was at least 20 versions ago. ;)

    i doubt that you ever heard that. They always said that they would release only security updates, and yet there has been some functionality differed and icons added to the toolbars. But a positive is that it is more stable than it used to be 20 years ago :)
