Installation error - MT4 download is installaing as MT5 -=> very very odd!
Hello everyone!
This is a very very strange error.
...The support for MT4 was stopped long time ago. It means the following:
- it will not be any key improvement of MT4; it will be just error fixing only;
- we can not download and install MT4 from this mql5 portal; we need to go to the brokers' websites to download and install MT4 (because the brokers are still supporting MT4).

It has been years since you could download MT4 from Metaquotes. You can only get it from a broker's website.

Hello everyone!
This is a very very strange error.
I am trying to install MT4 on my Windows 10 Desktop.
It seems to be installing MT5 instead of MT4.
See attached screen capture.

As you can see from the URL is it mt4setup.exe
It downloads successfully but actually installs MT5!
I did the good old uninstall and reboot and try again.
Still same result.
