I have an EA that works on my demo account.

when you load it on  the real(live)account no trades open no errors.

cant get hold of the person who created the EA.

what can I do?

 

You may check whether have log in Expert Log for getting hints.

If not, then you may search by EA name to try to ask people or find author.

Find Metatrader broker (there are a lot of Metatrader brokers, use google to find), and open the account according to their condition on their websites.
Try with demo first.
