I started to test/trade this EA with FXCM broker.
The settings are slightly different - I will post the settings of the results will be good.
Hi newdigital. I am trying the TickScalper 3.44 EA on my live account. How does the EA limit losses? What logic does it follow to close negative positions?

It is having martingale instead of losses.

So, use this EA with 1 pair only (EURGBP is preferable), starting lot size = 0.01; initial deposit is 5,000 or 10,000 (10,000 is better), MaxOrders = 10.
Martingale instead of stop loss (losses) is using for ExitMode = 11 and 12 (it is simple exit on martingale).
Other ExitMode's values are not used for martingale and it those cases - some trades can be closed in loss if:
- ExitMode = 1 (it is if fast MA is above or below Slow MA) - exit on MA;
- ExitMode = 2: price above/below 2 MAs indicators (EMA or whatsoever);
- ExitMode = 3: same with - ExitMode = 2 but close in profit only;
- ExitMode = 4: price below/above 1 MA indicator;
- ExitMode = 5: same with ExitMode = 4 but price should be above/below some other MA indicator;
- ExitMode = 6: same with ExitMode = 5 but with the differences: price below/above 1 MA indicator OR price should be above/below some other MA indicator;
- ExitMode = 7: similar with - ExitMode = 4;
- ExitMode = 8: it is when one MA is above/below the other MA;
- ExitMode = 9: exit on Bollinger bands indicator.
- ExitMode = 10: exit on 2 Bollinger bands indicators and high/low (for some period).
- ExitMode = 11 and 12: martingale exit - EA will open next trade with more highier value of lot size instead of closing it in loss.
It is what I read from inside the code.
Sorry - I am not a coder so it can be mistakes bu from what I see - more clever stop loss is ExitMode = 10.
