New Pair being used

I'm switching to Chf/jpy. moves a lot more which is great therefore more pips. EChf just too unpredictable these days and when EA is set to only take longs at certain price levels, I feel it misses out on 1/2 the pips (due to possible snb intervention) This pair has also been tested live with great results. Expect slightly more DD but the pair does not sit a price level for very long... so it closes trades fairly quick. This pair on my settings can average 3-500 pips per week with an average DD of around 3 - 10% on a 3k account which is well within my personal conservative trading style. Recommended trade size is .1 lots per 3k.

 

There is some problem with the signal?

 

It seems it is opening 2 order at the same time and close when they are still in loss. You may want to look at the clone Supremo Channel Trader II Clone | Rent a Signal which is kind of similar what we are getting from the signal.

 

I agree. Doesn't happen every time, but I have several trades today where a duplicate exists - identical buy price/open/close time/sell price.

 

looks like we need to have open trade over the weekend this time. Doesn't make sense to close them all before it.

Your mt4stat statistics does not work for this signal. Do you propose to restart it?

 

wow we stay clean before the weekend and only lose 9 bucks on those trades

SERIOUS Execution DELAY of RAS

Hi everybody,

sorry this is beeing quite a lengthy message as I want to exchance my detailed experience with you, in terms of RAS delay affecting performance of this signal, and would appreciate your feed back accordingly:

like probably everyone else using this signal I felt very relieved seeing that open orders finally closing at about B/E on Friday evening. Guess we were all very lucky CHF/JPY finally declined those 30-40 pips that were needed to do so.

However, I would like to adress another issue here, which actually

seriously compromised the performance of this signal on my live accounts,

in particular since the switch to CHF/JPY occured.

I am running this signal live on ALPARI UK and FXDD.

I am using both accounts on a VPS , having the RAS EA attached to the GBPJPY chart , TF 1 h.

my IP Ping time to Alpari is about 90 ms, ping to FXDD is about 23 ms.

That 9 open orders that were closed on RAS website on Friday evening

in between 20:33:42 and 20:33:46 were executed on my live accounts as follows:

FXDD:

Only had 8 open orders on that account. No idea why 1 order was missing:

4 orders were closed in between 20:33:42 and 20:33:43.

This is absolutely OK. Almost no delay.

However the remaining 4 orders were closed in between

20:34:23 and 20:34:27.

This delay of about 40 seconds resulted in a 4 pips higher closing price

on these 4 orders, so I lost about 16 pips due to this delay.

Overal I was down 32 pips on these 8 trades.

ALPARI :

Delay wise things are much worse here:

the 9 open orders were closed in between 20:35:42 and 20:36:09 only.

This means at a delay of more than 2 minutes !

Luckily for this case, such delay had also occured on the order opening at Alapri, so I had got a better entry price on some orders,

which resulted in overal 9 pips profit on those 9 orders.

However, due to the Ras delay issue things worked out

pretty worse on most of the other orders on Alpari during this past week:

ALPARI UK: - 2.4 pips

FXDD : + 197 pips

RAS reference account: + 337 pips

Half of that poor performance on Alpari I blame on RAS delay.

I had trades with 2 pips loss that were 10 pips profit on RAS website.

Other half I blame on worse spread of Alpari at this pair:

It is 6 pips most of the time, wheras FXDD is 4 pips, and I believe

also piphunter is having 4 pips or even less on his reference account

, too.

By the way, piphunter, could you inform which broker you are using

to trade this signal since the switch to CHFJPY,

and also let us have an updated link to MT4-STATS, as the previous one

stopped working since you switched pairs ?

Some more info: I did not get any "requote errors" on the executions of the last 9 orders,

however I had quite a number of requote errors on both accounts

during this week, since the switch to EURCHF.

I did not have any requotes when trading EURCHF though.

So, how is everyone else's experience of this signal beeing affected

by RAS delays? Has anyone found some way to reduce the RAS execution delays ?

Maybe using a broker who is located close to RAS server

would help ? Anybody knows where RAS server is located and

what is their IP adress to test the ping times ?

What I find strange is that some orders ie on FXDD are executed within

1-2 seconds, whereas others get delayed up to 1 minute or even more.

So we are not dealing with a general delay issue here, rather with an

inconsinstancy in signal transfer time from RAS to the receiver account.

Of course also the transfer time from sender's account

to RAS would have some impact, too.

Hope by exchanging each other's experience on this suject

we could discover ways to improve signal perrformance for everyone in future.

To me, it feels very bad to see, that this generally very profitable signal

even causes a slight loss on my Alpari live account due to the aforementioned issues even though reference account was in profit this week by over 300 pips...
