not sure what you mean???

the answer on using repainting/not repainting tools - perfect!

Actually what I see now is, that this trade should not have been taken for the reason that the price was still under the SDL. Or maybe since it had been crossed already by the previous candle perhaps its acceptable. This is where an EA would have worked judged better then of my own excitement to make a trade.

Today at 0:15 GMT we had an entry from 162.19 (at the second AO bar) as the price came back down to 14 pips from the last bottom of 162.05.

when price moved to 162.31 (10+2 pips spread) we moved to BE.

Price reached it's high to 162.53 (34 pips in plus) we exited at 162.38 when 15 pips of profit went with a total gain of 19 pips - spread.

Nice start for the week.

This next trade started at 0:57 GMT at 162.39 is a work in progress as we speak with a high of 162.68, now already reached our target of 50 pips a day, just in the first hour!! and at this time of the day! well I wonder what you think.

Good luck to all of you.

Hi, Dav! system and rules are logical, all make sense

could you please, comment more on why you come to such ATR settings (1, Levels – 0.025, 0.08) and what it does?

Thanks fxbs, I take this as a great complement, because the heart of the system is based on lots of logic. As you see the AO is extremely sensitive to the moves, and is also easy to visualize and measure. But since you can not just keep going in and out with the AO for at best you might BE or worse you could lose on a ranging day, this is where the fx sniper comes in the picture. With this we try to take into consideration the immediate term small trend which is happening in the 1M chart, by looking at that we have a better chance of choosing the right ones so to speak. Also the SDL can put the price into a little perspecive and can save us here and there from some bad trades. Then we also have to take in consideration that when we see a big gap between the top and bottoms and the current price, it tells us that the market is unstable and wild so better not risk it. and so goes the reasoning for the ATR levels as explained already earlier, Thanks again and good luck.

Dav,

Can you explain this rule:

1) If when the second bar closes the conditions are not yet ripe for the entry then forgo this trade - don't use the the third bar for entry.

the second bar after what?

Wookey.

Dav,

Can you explain this rule:

Wookey.

This refers to the AO bars when it started a new cycle starting from 0 if it had already formed 2 bars bars but the conditions to enter the trade were not ripe yet then even if the conditions are now here when the 3rd bar appears don't trade it.

Thanks Dav,

What's about this rule:

3) If you have a losing trades do not enter the next trade within the same 10 pips of price as the previous one.

Should we avoid the entrance price +- 10 pips or price where the trade was stopped? Or may be both 10 pips above the max of two and below the min?

Also, don't you think that 8 pips ATR is too wide filter for 1 min TF?

Wookey
