I testing Goblin last H4 update version.

I have two identical copy, start with 5000 deposit, identical time and broker MIG.

First - M15

Second H1

Today winner H1, yesterday M15.

Hmm, it is interesting thing.

Mayby any timeframe automatic switch for help and big profit.

I fret over with open trade and relative DD

This time

M15 - open trade -687,-

H1 - open trade -1680,-

Yesterday has been reverse.

Please, if anybody attach your statement, add your settings!

Regards

I am impressed with the fact that M15 did not increase the trades over .4 except for the latest floating entry. That spells safety to me whereas the H1 gets into .8 territory often in the all positions probably because the start off was .2. Starting above .01 with these EAs is very dangerous.

Reading the H1 statement why did the EA not open additional trades when it clearly should have, it has made the job of getting into profit too hard. It should have either opened more progressions or closed down with the Dynamic Stop.

It would be intersting to see your settings to compare with those I have just posted.

Thank you for posting your settings, may I make a couple of comments?

When you set the InitialStop to 300.0 you are effectively adding 300 pips to the already set Dynamic Stop accounting for your large StopLoss as shown on your detailed statement.

When you set AccountProtection to 0 it will over ride the OrderstoProtect setting of 2 giving you no AccountProtection and allowing the EA to open trades up to your MaxTrades setting. Even worse it will then take another 300 pips to hit the StopLoss.

I am not a coder but having been testing the Dynamic Stop since tururo created it I have tried to learn from the posting of others over the time.

Those are awesome results!

Folks -

I am keeping a log of all your enhancement ideas and suggestions for this EA. I appreciate the feedback. For the time being, I'd like to do what we're doing and just keep running this thing for a few weeks or so to assess how well these trend indicators work and to see if it gives better results than the standard 10Point3. Once we've proven that the Goblin concept is viable and worth further development, I'll start incorporating many of these enhancements.

Are these settings ok for my live 250$ account?

This week this EA gained my balance for around 15%, but today I am at start again..

Tested with two $5000 accounts last night;

H1

TP=20

MaxT=10

Rest settings default

-$1741 in the whole

M30

TP=10

MaxT=4

Rest settings default

+202 profit

Going to stick with tighter/safer values

Can someone post here what each setting actually means and does. This will help me to understand what is going on.

How do I printout a report so I can see what currencies were the ones that profited?

Thanks

Someone may know of a quicker report, but I use excel as follows:

1. Create a DetailledStatement report from the History tab in Terminal window.

2. Opening the DetailedStatement.htm with Excel.

3. Click Ctrl-A to select all cells in sheet and set font size to 8.

4. Select (highlight) the data, starting just below the Deposit line and stopping just before the p/l line.

5. Click sort in the top menu Data drop down.

6. Check "no header row".

7. Sort by column E - ascending.

8. Click OK.

9. Select first sorted currency pair cell in column E.

10. Click Subtotal in the top menu Data drop down.

11. Click OK at next prompt window "MicroSoft Excel cannot determine..."

12. Select column E in "At each change in".

13. Select only column N in "Add subtotal to".

14. Click OK.

This gives you a report sorted by pairs and subtotaled. Example attached

Here are my settings for both 10points3 Dynamic Stop and Goblin. I am running 10points on M30 and Goblin on H1 with all recommended pairs and posting my results in the appropriate threads.

Hi John,

I think it's a very good idea to compare the performance of 10points3 Dynamic Stop and goblin with the same setting.

Do you think it makes more sense, if you let these two EAs run on the charts of the same timeframe?

thanks
