Missing AZBO to day !!!! Surfing on the sandy hills of Arizona ?

And the winner is.......... IBFX Mode3: +1378 pips!

IBFX Demo0, Mode3:

What can I say? A gain of 19.5% for the week !!! 390 pips $CHF, 418 pips GBP$, 314 pips $JPY and 256 pips EURJPY. Second week of very good profits; are the loosing days (january) over?

IBFX Demo1, Mode3:

My Demo0 copycat traded differently for the $JPY and the EURJPY pair. This proofs that same setups (broker, computer, software, etc) don't equal to same trading results.

I don't even bother starting to analyze why and when. The account is on the up-swing: 14% gain for the week.

IBFX Demo2, Mode1:

Still no "luck" for me with Mode1.

FXDD Demo3, Mode3:

Lost the gains from the week before. $CHF is not the pair for FXDD - at least don't for the standart setting. $JPY lost the first time since I started the account back in January.

While FXDD is in a dormant stage for the past month and doesn't know where to go, IBFX is on the rebound and it is strong! If it keeps going my account will double in less than 20 weeks of trading - which doesn't mean one should forget the loss from a intra-week 90K balance down to less than 60k.

The drawdown was definately there and it was huge.

Have a great weekend everybody and a good start for the coming week

geez another bad start to the week for FXDD

fikko, when you manually open a trade to "switch train", does Phoenix have control over that trade (is Phoenix capable of taking over manually opened trades, anyone?)

Ouch ! Yes : another bad start...

hhsmoney : same on IBFX !!!!

But on FXDD : + 271 floating and IBFX -164 floating.

No more comments.. only : Grrrrrrrrrrr !

Missing orders!

Sorry for bringing this up again.

I have been noticing this pretty regularly and I am trying to get to the bottom of this issue.

For your reference I am using Phoenix 5.7.0 live with mode 3 (the mode which opens three orders) on two separate accounts - one for myself and one for my roommate. I have TWO instances of MetaTrader running on the SAME computer, each serving the two live accounts.

For ONE of the accounts, the log file for today (5 March 2007) showed the following entires:

15:47:02 'XXXXX': instant order buy 0.10 EURUSD at 1.3142 sl: 1.3058 tp: 1.3184

15:47:03 'XXXXX': request was accepted by server

15:47:03 'XXXXX': request in process

15:47:04 'XXXXX': order was opened : #2062281555 buy 0.10 EURUSD at 1.3142 sl: 1.3058 tp: 1.3184

15:47:04 'XXXXX': instant order buy 0.10 EURUSD at 1.3142 sl: 1.3058 tp: 1.3184

15:47:04 'XXXXX': request was accepted by server

15:47:05 'XXXXX': request in process

15:47:05 'XXXXX': order was opened : #2062281557 buy 0.10 EURUSD at 1.3142 sl: 1.3058 tp: 1.3184

15:51:48 'XXXXX': modify order #2062281557 buy 0.10 EURUSD at 1.3142 sl: 1.3058 tp: 1.3184 -> sl: 1.3142 tp: 1.3184

15:51:49 'XXXXX': request was accepted by server

15:51:50 'XXXXX': order #2062281557 buy 0.10 EURUSD at 1.3142 was modified -> sl: 1.3142 tp: 1.3184

As you can see, only TWO orders were opened but more interestingly a modify order request was submitted to set SL for order #2062281557 equal to buy price (1.3142)

However, on the SECOND account, three trades were opened as expected and no modify order request was submitted to the server.

I am seeing more of this type of "strange" behavior in Metatrader running Phoenix since I upgraded to build 202.

Has anyone else experienced this recently?

Could this be because two separate instances of MetaTrader are trying to open trades at the same time? But this still doesn't explain why the order was modified after opening!

hhsmoney:
I've encountered this issue a couple times before, look in your "Experts" log, there should be an "Ordersend(129)" error, which means the order is locked, but locked by what I don't know..... not sure about mode1, but when this happens in mode3, 1 order would be opened instead of 3.

This post on Metaquote http://www.metaquotes.net/forum/1648/ seems to suggest that it is due to a fast moving market or too slow connection. But if market is too fast, why would the order go through in demo account but not the other? And with everyone on DSL now, slow connection doesn't seem like the cause either. Then the OP said that his problem was solved by upgrading to build 190, but we're up to build 202 now and it is still happening. Then there's the possiblity that there's something wrong in Phoenix, but again, why would it work in demo but not your other account? A mystery to me.......

I have setup another account which I just let ran full auto, will post results soon.
