Total profit +19 pips.
It took first 5 trades all in pluses, kinda sucked on the exits loosing alot of pips. If corrected manually would have been about +80.
More or less good entries but not so good exits. Maybe someone has ideas on that.

No, It is not dead.
I am doing differenct things with this ea. It has lot of functions, and each function affects at great extent. I did some unorthodox stuff with it. Like putting bar % to 200 etc. But still need testing. Only it will let us know what is good or bad, even if it takes whole year or so.

Hallo. After an order ist opened my PG 3.3.1 is printing PG 3.3.1 USDCAD H1 (0) Ticket xxxxxxx found SL is 0. This is printed until order closed. I counted > 200. Who knows the solution to stop this. The SL was 30 really. I controlled this in the area EXPERT. karl
Find it in the superclose() function and comment it out.
I have a question concerning money management I was hoping someone can answer......
If I were to open a mini account with $1,000 and consistantly made 500 pips profit per month... By risking 5% of the account per trade, what would be the formula to maximize profitability and compound the winnings to grow the account?

Another two days worth of trades with pf. Again had some good openings but did not take good profits.

Changed some parameters and will trade forward again as it showed 100% profit with no losses on backtest. Will hope for the best.
P.S. Hope this thread will survive and not die off.

P.S. Hope this thread will survive and not die off.I was working on several option of this ea, i reduced my a/c to eight hundred only, then i recover it to handsome amt, let see what happens. Still diff ea. Need to check several options. This ea will take little bit more time to get into shape.

Hi!
After different backtests (a first selection of parameters on 3 months tick data and then a rerun of profitables ones on 64 weeks) I found that PG could change for profitable to not very quickly and for long periods. I can't find results right now (not on the right computer) but reverse mode is the best one, I would even say that "normal" mode should be avoided.
Also, I found a large "area" of parameters sets where PG seems to be profitable. As I remember best was with SL = 45, TP = 80, Longbar = 17 and %OpenBar = 0.7 and TimeFrame 1H on EURUSD (BT based on gaincapital ticks data).
Those are just approximation because I first tried to study the best profit area (but a small one) for parameters (longbar near 5) but variations from a week to another are often too important (best parameters made 3k pips overs 64 weeks if you do not trade in august (-1k) - and real good and straight curve). I still have to make a long study over the large area of parameters.
I didn't work on it for one month (too less time) and neural networks are very interesting but I'll post next results in June if I find interesting things.
Also, just for those interested in neural networks: http://www.jooneworld.com/ a free and opensource tool (still not have tested it, still learning theory, but seems easy to connect to MT4).

Just for eur/usd would be fine.
Yes, I just downloaded the 333 version and I quickly counted 39 input settings.
If anyone could post their best setting and their timeframe it would help.
