But the situation is not so bad. It you look at weekly performance thread for this week performance so it is the following:
8. Firebird v0.65.
EURUSD: pips this week -47; pips in total -40286.
GBPUSD: pips this week 142; pips in total 17368.
USDJPY: pips this week 122; pips in total 20035.
USDCHF: pips this week 74; pips in total 36126.
9. Firebird v0.65, timefilter.
EURUSD: pips this week -47; pips in total -23920.
GBPUSD: pips this week 63; pips in total 6150.
USDJPY: pips this week -11; pips in total 13435.
USDCHF: pips this week 65; pips in total 39338.
And we do not have the goal to produce as many pips as possible. We all need good and reliable EAs. So the meaning of Total Leaders thread is some kind of sorting. If EA is on the top of total leaders thread so it does not mean that it is the best EA. Just sorting out.
You see just one loss for EURUSD. And it was +97 pips since january 2006 for EURUSD so this big loss did not affect on anything. Simple total leaders lost +97 pips and that's all. And in the same time it was + 4406 pips for GBPUSD for that week (+17368 pips from the beginning of the testing), +4039 for USDJPY (+36052 from the beginning of the testing).
By the way, it was asked 100 times already so really tired to answer the same questions (i mean: why +10,000 pips and sometimes -10,000 just for one week). Read this thread from the beginning and you will understand this EA: sometimes this EA is winning (most of the times) but sometimes - big loss. It is risky EA and you need to have big deposit size to trade with Firebird (more than 50,000 of course).
I wanted to stop testing this EA and I really don't understand why people like this Firebird. Anyway, I am just testing ...

actually i like SBS, good old strategyI agree but we can not ignore the fact that many people does not have big deposit for the forex. Many people are having just 1,000 or 500. And because of that the systems as Firebird, STI, Forex Casino EA, CyberiaTrader EA and RSIRound and some others will be always popular. And it will be interesting for the people with big deposit size as well. So, that is why Firebird is popular EA.
Firbird Installation
I am having problem installing Firbird in my MT4. It is asking for .ex4 file which is not in the folder i downloaded. Maybe there is sthn i missed or i am not doing well. Also i dont know what i am supposed to do with the m30.set files.
Pls someone should enlighten me.

And you probable need to compile EA. If you are getting the errors during the compiling so copy and place this text/error here to be fixed.
