It all depends on your broker, if these assets are listed on their brokerage and yet it does not allow MQL5 / Signals.

Yes. My broker offers up to 9 of them. What i'm asking is if I could trade them and offer them as a signal provider here.

Thank you in advance.

Yes it could, no problem ....

If your broker has them, yes you can provide the signal. But could subscribers copy your signal? That would depend on what symbols their broker has. If they have the same symbols, no problem. If they don't have those symbols then no, they can't copy.

Can someone explain how account leverage in my account vs master account affects the lot sizes. My account is 50:1 and the signal account I copy from is 200:1. My account balance is similar to the master balance. When I allocate 95% and the master trades .1 lot, my account trades .01 lot. How can I get my account to trade larger lot?

Hi

First, your balance is not "similar" to the provider when talking about signals. Small differences make a big difference when calculating copying lot sizes. And after leverage calculations, it's actually 16% the size (15% after rounding)

The leverage difference can have a huge impact on the final calculation, as in your case.

In very quick and dirty terms, it goes something like this:

Your balance: $14690.54 * 95% = $13956.013 available for signal

Provider balance: $21668.81

Both in USD so no conversion factor

Your balance as percentage of provider balance = ($13956.013 /$21668.81) * 100 = 64.406%

Difference in leverage =  200 (provider) / 50 (you) = 4

Final allocation = 64.406% / 4 =  16.1015 %

Metatrader rounding calculation (value is between 10 and 100 so round down to nearest 5) = 15%

So now the provider adds a trade at 0.1 lot.
Your lots should then be 0.1 * 15% = 0.015 lots.
There is no such thing as 0.015 lots so it has to be rounded down to 0.01 lots

Hope that makes sense. You can get more detailed info on each of the steps here

So in answer to your question, there are only 2 ways to increase your lot size. Increase your balance or increase your leverage.

Cheers
Stu
