I was asked to post some trades of our STS 2020 rulest and here we are.

To make my life easier, I wrote an EA that automatically executes the trades and of course strictly adheres to all rules.

We started the EA on Monday on a 10,000 demo account and finished the week with these results.

So far so good, but there are always details to improve which I'll explain at the trade examples below.

GBPCAD

GBPCAD was our worst trade this week. It was executed pretty short after the market opening and demonstrated once again to be cautious on Mondays but why?

On a Monday Night/Morning the majority of market price data is from the LAST week which leads to false trigger signal on the indicators. That said, it's best to wait until ALL exchanges around the world started the new week before judging the charts and entering new positions. I'll modify the time setup of the EA accordingly.

EURAUD

At EURAUD we've been thrown out of the market due to a too tight stop loss. If I would have used the FX Trend H1 trend line as trailing stop we would have easily reached our TP and closed with 92 Pips profit instead of 11 pips loss.
The next trade example confirms this as well.

AUDCHF

AUDCHF - the exact same trailing stop situation as above. Luckily the second trade of this pair reached it's profit target a few minutes ago. Lesson learned and I'll change the used trailing stop method to a one that leaves the market more space to evolve the indicated movement.

AUDJPY

AUDJPY - a perfect trade straight on his way to it's take profit

NZDJPY

NZDJPY - same here, a perfect trade straight on his way to it's take profit

That's stress-free trading at it's best and with better trailing stops we could have ended way better but I'm satisfied with the results so far and the entire calmness in this system despite all Jackson Hole Symposium news etc.

If you like what you see, I suggest having a closer look at our STS 2020 system description and join our fantastic trading community.

All the best and Happy Weekend
