A reminder for those who have failures of experts / scripts / indicators

In order for any programmer to understand the problem of the expert / script / indicator behavior, you need to provide some information, then the process of parsing the problem is reduced to minimal time.

What you need for this:

The picture of the entire terminal on the graph of which is a robot EA ( ScreenShot )
A set of adviser or indicator settings. File "SET file"
Log files from experts (logs EA)
Log files from terminal (logs SERVER)
Detailed Report
Strategy Tester (Strategy Tester report)
A detailed description of the problem in a text document, with the numbers of the ticket of the deals, with which the problem occurred.

Active work area - save

Result:

Configuration File Set File

Enter the advisor settings:

To do this, press F7 on the chart , where the expert is set!

Go to the tab Settings , and then click Save

This file is needed to reproduce the problem

Pictures about the opening of the deals

Our advisors know how to record pictures during their discoveries.

These pictures are added to the folder of your terminal and serve to reveal the cause of the discovery at the time, if the opening occurred not there.

It is worth considering that in the tester - the pictures are not created.

Also YOU should understand that in order for the picture to show the moment of entry - on the chart you must put your indicators

Log files from experts

Experts tab - right click - open

opens the folder of the expert's logs - archive the last 3 days of the expert's work in the archive.!

Log tab - right click - open

The terminal logs folder is opened - Enter the last 3 days of the terminal operation in the archive!

Note: If your terminal does not have the necessary log files, you need to start the terminal in the "From administrator" mode or with the "/ portable"

Detailed report

Tab - Account history - right click - Save detailed report

Strategy Tester

If this problem appears on the strategy tester, please send a log of the strategy tester file

Tab - log in the tester-right click - Open

opens a folder of expert logs - Put in the archive the file of today's test!

Strategy Tester Report

After the test is complete - Report Tab - right-click - save as.

All This package is placed in ZIP archive and send it to the programmer. This will save both your and Our time, and will allow you to understand the problem in more detail.

Hi sir

my copied trades are delayed for a long time even for opening and closing as well,

I have enabled the mode of copying only unprofitable positions, even though the position is in lose in master it's delayed for long time to open

sometimes the trades have been closed in the master but not closed on the slave account,

I am using a high-performance VPS and no more activity on it

you will find in the attached 2 folders one delaying in closing which forced me to close the trades manually and

the other folder you will find the delay in opening for several minutes

Please check and assist with this issue

If you look at your report, you can see that positions are opened once every 5 minutes. most likely your broker has such trading conditions. trades open every 5 minutes. Because of this, the adviser cannot open a position at another time. change the broker on the client (or master)and check.

I will be able to say exactly when the opportunity arises.

also if you check I have the same issue with closing the trades which is not related to every 5 min conditions as you expect

please try to investigate well, I just need to use your app only because of the setting for min and max lot size limitation but it should work fine.

Therefore, I can not track the actions of the adviser.

4. It is strange that in the report for the 17th there are transactions for 17. But not for 15.

This knows that you are filtering history. It is not right.

In order for the adviser to work correctly. Need in account history - Right click - Show all history.

Otherwise, the adviser does not see which deals have been closed and which have not yet.

5. It is also very strange that in the server logs there are opening positions for the 15th day, but there is no data that they are closed.

It means that the transactions were closed on another server or computer.

6. Since there is no data on the logs from the expert, I cannot track the closing of positions by the adviser.

7. I also see that other indicators are working on the chart where my Expert Advisors are installed.

This may cause conflicts.

SL and TP are copied to the MT5 Copylot Client display but are not copied to the Trading Terminal. Look at de picture.
