Der Gaussian Channel MT4 ist der erste Indikator auf dem Markt, der die Ehlers Gaußian Filter-Methode verwendet, um Trends zu definieren. Heute ist dieser Gaußsche Kanal weithin als Methode zur Unterstützung der HOLD-Technologie in Kryptowährungen bekannt.

Liegt der Kurs über dem Kanal, ist der Trend stark, geht er zurück in den Kanal, kann dies als Widerstand reagieren, fällt der Kurs darunter, deutet dies auf den Beginn eines Bärenmarktes (oder Winters) hin.
