I've recently tested both the MT4 and MT5 versions of the Amber Waves EA, conducting backtests and a two-week demo account run. The expert has demonstrated an amazing performance so far and i am quite impressed. I eagerly activated Amber Waves on a real money account and will keep you updated on results. I think that i prefer MT5 version which is running a bit more stable.

Update: March 1, 2024 - EA no longer is profitable.

Had initial issues running the MT5 version of the EA on demo but got sorted after a fresh install of MT5 terminal. Traded on Live account this week and so far the trades were similar to the back test and had put some gains already. I like this EA it has reasonable Risk/Reward ratio. The loses on the back test are reasonable and can be regained in the next few trades. One thing that can be improved though is maybe putting a hard SL and TP on the opening of the trade for safety purposes. But so far it has not affected the performance because I think the EA has a logic to close losing trades before the drawdown gets too big. Please continue to develop this EA and maybe optimize for more pairs.

I've recently tested both the MT4 and MT5 versions of the Amber Waves EA, conducting backtests and a two-week demo account run. The expert has demonstrated an amazing performance so far and i am quite impressed. I eagerly activated Amber Waves on a real money account and will keep you updated on results. I think that i prefer MT5 version which is running a bit more stable.
