Strategy Tester Visual Mode: Auto-Restarting & Time Parameter

I would like to have the strategy tester visual mode play on a loop (auto-restart when it reaches the end) using the latest data. I don't need it to actually load any EA or strategy, it's just for me to see.

Would also need to be able to specify a start time (right now can only pick a day and start from 00:00 that day). 

For example:

  • Right now it is 2:30PM, I set Strategy Tester Visual Mode on 30m timeframe and 2PM 'Start Time' on today's date.
  • I press Start, the 30m candle from 2PM to 2:30PM would begin to play itself out.
  • When it reaches 2:30PM, instead of ending, it restarts the loop at 2PM and plays it all over again. 
  • However, if it keeps going, and now it's 2:45PM, well half of the 2:30PM candle's data should be available and be playing (like when you stop it manually and restart it) I think when MT4 is open and you have the live chart of an index, the Data Center is downloading the PIPs in live time, so I think in theory it should be possible.


The idea is to be able to see the last X amount of time the market is trading, but in an accelerated way in the lead up to right now, on a loop
