Hi all,
I am looking for a coder who is able to convert my simple trading strategy into an Expert Advisor for MT4. Please find below about both the trading strategy and the desired characteristics of the EA.
Entry signals
At the close of a candle (the signal candle), the EA opens a trade at the opening of a new candle. If the signal candle is bullish, then a short positioned is opened and vice versa.
Stop Loss
SL is based on the signal candle and calculated as follows. If a long position is opened: a certain percentage (to be selected, e.g. (161.8%) x the distance between the low of the signal candle and the close of that candle and vice versa for short positions.
TP
TP level is a certain percentage (to be selected, e.g. 20.05%) X the distance between the high/low of the signal candle and its close price.
I included two pictures to demonstrate these rules.
The EA should have the following characteristics:
- to set a risk percentage for initial trades (e.g. 1% of the account balance);
- to multiply the risk if the previous trade has been a loss (martingale). After a winner the risk percentage for initial trades has to apply again;
- to have the EA running on several charts within on an account, but to have only a certain amount (to be selected, e.g. 1) position open at a time. In the event there are more entry signals but cannot all be taken, then the EA should decide to trade the pair which has the best conditions (taking into account spread and/or commission (if applicable);
- to prevent the EA from opening new positions at a certain account balance;
- to prevent the EA to open new trades if the signal candle is a certain percentage (to selected, e.g. 200%) of the ADR (ADR input to be selected, e.g. 14)
- to prevent the EA from opening a new position if the SL level is not at least a certain pips away from the opening price (to be selected, e.g. 20 pips)
I would appreciate that after the EA is created, a backtest is performed with at least 90% modeling quality (preferrably 99%) of at least 1.000 trades to check for potential errors (does not have to be with recent data).
I look forward to receive a quote for the above work and and a timing estimation.
