What Bar Break Alerter Does:
Bar Break Alerter lets traders activate clean break monitoring directly on the chart with a simple two-button panel.
- One button activates long break monitoring.
- One button activates short break monitoring.
- Clicking the active button again deactivates the alert.
After activation, the tool monitors the selected direction in the background and sends an alert when the chosen break confirmation appears. The trader can then return to the chart, review the setup, and decide whether to act or pass.

4 Break Confirmation Types
Choose one confirmation type in the input settings to monitor its next occurrence:
- Previous Candle Body Break
- Previous Candle Wick Break
- Fractal Break by Candle Close or Full Candle
- Break of Structure by Candle Close or Full Candle
These confirmation types range from more aggressive to more conservative, making the tool suitable for different reversal and confirmation strategies.
Clean Chart Markings
The tool marks the active break level and the candle that triggered the break. This makes the alert process easier to review, understand, and validate.
Reliable Background Monitoring
Monitoring continues while changing charts or timeframes. When the terminal is restarted, the indicator checks whether a valid break occurred during offline time and issues an alert if applicable.
How to use
1. Attach Bar Break Alerter to the chart.
2. Choose the preferred clean break type in the input settings.
3. Wait for price to reach a support, resistance, or planned reversal area.
4. Activate long or short monitoring directly from the chart.
5. Step away from the screen if needed.
6. Wait for the alert when a valid clean break confirmation appears.
7. Return to the chart, review the setup, and decide whether to take action or pass.
Notes & Limitations
Each chart supports one active alert per direction at a time.
