EURUSD shows weakness during last french candidate debate. However, probably related to a strong USD that rallied on all pairs today rather than weak EUR

EURUSD rallied after first round of french elections and closed above important swing high prices. Since then the pair is consolidating, waiting for the second round decisions. It is very likely for Macron to win, if so the EUR potentially continues its rally to form an ABCD simple price pattern and will trigger a longterm advanced fibonacci price pattern (BatPattern)

So many traders stay away form news events and I can understand why... however, I love the dynamics and speed that price action develops during these times and I am always enjoying trading through major newsenvents. Realized 3% during the french elections, and since price is not really moving a lot. I wouldn't have missed this! Price can go up or down so you need to be prepared anyways.
