Range Breaking EA is an Expert Advisor that uses a range breakout strategy to trade financial instruments. This EA is designed to work with all types of financial instruments, including Forex, stocks, commodities, and Crypto. Its key feature is the ability to identify and capitalize on market range breakouts, thereby providing traders with an edge in the market.
Range Breaking EA has a large panel of flexible configurations that can be adjusted according to the trader's preferences. This allows traders to tailor their trading approach to their specific needs and goals. The EA works best with small time frames, M5, M15.
Can be used to pass certain prop firm challenges.
EA WORKS ON HEDGING ACCOUNTS ONLY.
When using ATR position calculations, keep in mind that the ATR value changes with time frames.
Inputs :
GENERAL SETTINGS
- EA Magic number : Unique number for the EA.
- Trades offset points : number of points to offset the trade entry price from the range.
- One cancel the other : If a pending order is triggered, it will cancel the opposite order.
- Range rectangle color.
- Range line color.
- Trade entry color.
- Range calculation starting time : Time to begin calculating the range in Hours and minutes 24 hours format.
- Range calculation ending time : Time to stop range calculation. This is also the time at which the EA will place trades.
- Use Closing time : The EA will close the pending orders as well as any open positions.
- Closing of trades time : Time at which trade will be closed. Max value 23:59.
MONEY MANAGEMENT
- Volume Type : Choose from 3 types of volume, Equity Percentage, Fix Lots and Currency Amount.
POSITION MANAGEMENT
- Position Management Type : Lets you choose between 3 types of position management, Fixed Point, Range Points or ATR Points.
Fixed points :
- If position management type is Fixed Points
- TP in points : Take profit value in points.
- SL in points : Stop loss in points.
- Trailing SL in points : Trailing stop loss value in points. Set to 0 to disable.
- Trailing SL trigger in points : Trailing stop loss trigger value in points.
- Break Even in points : Break even value in points. Set to 0 to disable.
Range points :
- If position management type is Range Points
- TP Range Multi : Take profit range points multiplier. 1 = the current range value in points.
- SL Range Multi : Stop loss range points multiplier.
- Trailing SL Multi : Trailing stop loss multiplier value. Set to 0 to disable.
- Trailing SL trigger Multi : Trailing stop loss trigger multiplier value.
- Break Even trigger Multi : Breakeven multiplier value. Set to 0 to disable.
Atr points :
- If position management type is ATR Points
- ATR period : Atr period value.
- TP ATR Multi : Take profit Atr points multiplier. 1 = the current ATR value in points.
- SL ATR Multi : Stop loss Atr points multiplier.
- Trailing SL Multi : Trailing stop loss multiplier value. Set to 0 to disable.
- Trailing SL trigger Multi : Trailing stop loss trigger multiplier value.
- Breakeven trigger Multi : Breakeven multiplier value. Set to 0 to disable.
