How the EA Works
Key Features
Signal-Based Trading: The EA fetches trading signals from a remote API and processes them to generate buy/sell orders.
Dynamic Risk Management:
You can find three different types of Expert Advisors when looking at their risk. The low risk being at 5% risk, the mid one being at 7% risk and the high risk being at 10%.
The percentage in the risk settings refers to the proportion of the account equity allocated for calculating the position size (lot size). This determines how much of your account's equity is effectively at stake when a trade is opened.
Market-Specific Behavior: Trades only in the FX market during standard market hours.
Key Validation: Users must provide a valid activation key to use the EA. The key is validated against a secure server.
Order Expiry Management: Open positions are automatically closed if they exceed their specified deadlines.
Trading Strategy:
The EA relies on signals fetched from an API. Each signal contains:
Symbol (e.g., EURGBP).
Market entry price.
Direction (Buy/Sell).
Stop Loss and Take Profit levels.
Signal expiry (deadline).
Signals are executed only if:
They belong to the FX market.
They are within 1 hour of their timestamp.
They have not been previously processed.
# INSTALATION GUIDE #
Step 1: Download and Place the EA
Download the .ex5 file for the EA.
Place the file in the following directory:
MetaTrader 5 > MQL5 > Experts
Restart your MetaTrader 5 terminal.
Step 2: Attach the EA to a Chart
Open a chart for any market symbol.
Navigate to the Navigator panel and locate the EA under "Experts."
Drag and drop the EA onto the chart.
Step 3: Input Settings
When attaching the EA, configure the following inputs:
user_key: Enter the activation key provided by AImetrics.
Step 4: Activate the EA
Ensure the "Allow Algo Trading" option is enabled in MetaTrader 5.
The EA will validate your key and begin operating.
How It Operates:
The EA retrieves signals from the API every 60 seconds.
Signals are validated, processed, and executed if conditions are met.
Open positions are monitored and closed when their deadlines are exceeded.
Error Messages:
Invalid Key: Ensure the provided key is correct and active. If issues persist, contact support.
Could not get any signals: Meaning the status code from the web request is different to 200. Ensure you have an active internet connection.
Order Placement Errors: Ensure your account has sufficient equity. Verify your broker supports the symbol where the position is trying to get placed.
