BullBearForce

The BullBearForce trading robot is designed to operate on the EUR/USD currency pair. Optimized for an H1 (one-hour) trading timeframe, it is ideal for traders seeking a balance between short-term and medium-term trading strategies.

Technical Indicators Used

  • Bulls Power and Bears Power: The technique was developed by Alexander Elder and involves two key indicators.
    • Bulls Power: Measures the strength of the bulls (buyers) in the market. It calculates the difference between the highest price and the Exponential Moving Average (EMA). A positive value indicates that buyers are strong, pushing prices above the average.
    • Bears Power: Measures the strength of the bears (sellers) in the market. It calculates the difference between the lowest price and the EMA. A negative value indicates that sellers are strong, pushing prices below the average.

These indicators help the robot assess market conditions, identifying potential entry and exit points based on the prevailing strength of bullish or bearish forces.

Development and Testing

  • Extensive Backtesting: The robot has undergone extensive backtesting on historical data to ensure robust performance and risk management.
  • Forward Testing: Simulated in real-time market conditions to validate its effectiveness before commercial release.
  • Monte Carlo Robustness Testing: Passed Monte Carlo robustness tests to ensure reliable performance under various market conditions.

Configurable Parameters

  • Magic Number: A unique identifier for the robot’s trades, allowing users to distinguish between trades made by different robots or strategies.
  • Profit Target: The predefined level at which the robot will close a trade to secure profits.
  • Stop Loss: The predefined level at which the robot will close a trade to prevent further losses.
  • Lots: The size of each trade, which can be adjusted based on the user’s risk tolerance and account size.
  • Exit on Friday: An option to close all open positions before the market closes on Friday.
  • Use Money Management: (true/false) If set to true, the robot will use a percentage of the total balance instead of a fixed lot size.
  • Risk Percent: The percentage of the account balance to be risked per trade when money management is enabled.
  • Lots: The fixed lot size to be used when money management is set to false.
    It is recommended to activate money management based on risk or adjust the number of lots according to the account balance.
