Hello,

 

You need to be able to read MsgBox Strings from code and also write to a MySQL database from MQL4  to write this indicator. 

 

I have a number of indicators which generate buy and sell signals. I would like to put one of these on a chart with a second indicator that I would like you to consider building. The name of this second indicator is

 

General Purpose Data Logger

 

What the General Purpose Data Logger does is this:

 

1) For every string that hits the MsgBox it opens up a new record in a MySql database

2) It then records the MsgBox string (buy or sell information) along with DATE and TIME and TITLE of the indicator as well as some SETTINGS of the Indicator.

3) The Data Logger then records the future times of the trades. For example, it might record the prices for the next two hours of the trade at five min intervals.



 We will be writing an exact technical specification for you. Currently, we are trying to figure out:
