Job Description: Risk Manager EA

I am currently seeking a skilled programmer to develop a simple Risk Manager EA for MT4. The main objective of this script is to effectively manage risk by implementing various measures to control and block specific trades from being executed.

Free Margin Checker

Function:

  • If the available free margin falls below the configured amount, the risk manager should block all new trades.

Inputs:
  • On/Off switch for this feature.
  • Configurable free margin amount.


Daily Loss Blocker


Function:

  • In the event that the daily profit and loss experiences a loss beyond the configured amount (realized or unrealized), the risk manager should liquidate all open positions and block any new trades for the remainder of the day.

Inputs:
  • On/Off switch for this feature.
  • Configurable maximum daily loss amount.

Outputs:

  • Alert that daily loss limit was reached and trades blocked.


Symbol Lot Size Checker

Function:

  • This feature is designed to limit the net open position for each symbol. For instance, if the limit for EURUSD is set to 1 lot, and we are already long by 0.5 lots, subsequent long orders of 0.6 lots or higher should be blocked. However, if a short position of 0.6 lots is initiated, the trade should be allowed since the net open position would become -0.1 lots. Similarly, if a new short position of 1.6 lots is attempted, it should be blocked as the net open position would then become -1.1 lots.

Inputs:
  • On/Off switch for this feature.
  • Multiple input windows to specify symbols and their respective limit amounts.

Outputs:

  • Alert that a trade was blocked for symbol and amount.
