I use myfxbook but it just isn't what I need to keep me updated on a few of my Mt4 and Mt5 trading accounts.
I would like to display and store some simple stats from my accounts.
I would like to have the following data:
- Account name (something I can assign it when setting up account in this program)
- Broker (I can specify this when setting up in this program?)
- account number
- platform (MT4 or MT5)
- Current balance
- Current equity balance
- Total profit $
- Total profit percentage (calculated on current balance, not the way myfxbook does it)
- Profit $ this month
- Profit % this month (based on current balance)
- Trades this month
- Profit $ today
- Profit % today (based on current balance)
- Trades today
- Sub cost (I will explain what this is)
- VPS cost (I will explain what this is)
- Total Cost (prior two added together)
- Net profit $ this month (profit this month minus total cost)
A manual refresh button is fine, it does not need to automatically update (unless that could be implemented easily)
I prefer python if possible as I am somewhat experienced in python and I can add to and expand the program if needed.
It does not need to be pretty, I can add nice graphics etc myself if done in python.
I am not sure if this could be done accessing myfxbook via their API or if accessing the MT4/MT5 accounts another way is better.
The data can then be stored daily (either manually or possibly through some type of batch?) in a spreadsheet that would keep a daily log of just the final balance and daily profit.
I can answer any questions or clear anything up if this is not making any sense.
