Expert Advisor with Trailing Stop and Trailing Take Profit

1. The idea of the trading system is as follows: a long position will be executed when the currency pair value has increased a certain number of pips above a minimum value. This minimum value should change (like a trailing take profit). This position will be closed once the conditions of a trailing stop have then been satisfied.

2. Trend is determined based on the most recent minimum/maximum values.

3. Trading Signals:

Buy signal: the currency pair has reached a local minimum value (this will be recognized when the value is a certain number of pips above the minimum i.e. trailing take profit)

Sell signal: the currency pair has has reached a local maximum value (this will be recognized when the value is a certain number of pips below the maximum i.e. trailing stop loss)

4. Positions are closed at the same opposite signal: buy positions are closed at sell signals, sell positions are closed at buy signals.

5. Positions are opened at the same signal: buy positions are opened at buy signals (with the exception of the first buy position), sell positions are opened at sell signals.

There should only ever be one position open at a time, as this will be buying/selling one currency pair, and the currency in the account will all be the same. 

For example, in the image, a buy position should be opened around the red circles, and this position should be closed i.e. a sell signal, around the blue circles.

6. Lot Size: to be determined by equity in the account of the corresponding currency along with a certain degree of leverage. For example, if the account has $10,000 CAD and I want to buy USD/CAD, the lot size of buying USD would be based on the $10,000 CAD with leverage.

7. Trading times are only to be during normal market hours (to be specified).
