2 in 1. This answers the question, what is GridOpposit?
The Expert Advisor likes trends, so it is trending – this is the TIME. But, like any bot, GridOpposit can make mistakes and then it becomes grid or averaging – these are TWO. The main thing is to act without fuss, according to a competent trading algorithm. GridOpposit also knows how to do this, using a flexible, dynamic order step corresponding to the market situation, rather than a static one. After all, it is on static grids that most averaging programs are drained if the price is at its peak.
The main calculation of the dynamic step is laid down in the code of the adviser. By default, it is optimized for the EURUSD pair. Periods and timeframes of indicators, profit thresholds and the minimum grid step – everything is optimally selected for Eurobax. To make sure of this, run the bot in the strategy tester on a price segment of any complexity.
In addition, the BUY and SELL directions in GridOpposit are independent, unlike many other grid operators, which work only one way each time. This does not guarantee, but it helps to extract more profit from any market situation. For example, a bot can average the SELL direction and place single BUY orders where necessary, or vice versa. Or it can average both BUY and SELL at the same time. Watch the video, you will definitely understand everything.
The advantages of GridOpposit do not stop there.
There are many brokers. Brokers are white, gray and not so much. Who knows what they have in mind? For this reason, not all traders want a broker to see where they will exit the market. GridOpposit helps with that as well. Now you can choose between two modes of profit taking:
- Orders with TP - with each new order, the TPs of all orders are automatically modified to the new total price level (shown in Part 1 of the video - Part 1. Work of GridOpposit with modification of TakeProfits).
- Orders without TP - the grid will close at a price level that is not visible to the broker. On your chart it will be marked with a corresponding horizontal line (shown in the second part of the video - Part 2. Work of GridOpposit without TakeProfit).
But these are not all the GridOpposit features.
For your convenient trading, a line with information on modes and basic settings is displayed on the screen, as well as additional command buttons. With them you can forcibly update the signals of the Expert Advisor, promptly set or modify orders.
In the settings window (key F7 or click on the smiley face in the right corner of the screen) you can also set the desired mode of operation:
- ON advisor - full automatic work;
- Pause in the work of the Expert Advisor - automation is disabled. At the same time, you can easily trade manually, quickly establishing orders with preset parameters using buttons "BUY" or "SELL" (they are always active). This is much more convenient than using standard terminal tools.
- Complete and stop - if there are any grids, they are completed and closed when there is a profit. Expert Advisor stops;
- BUY only - operation only in BUY direction. SELL signals are ignored;
- SELL only - operation only in SELL direction. BUY signals are ignored.

The screenshot shows work with minimal deposit 100$, starting lot 0.01. IMPORTANT! Here is standard broker's lot = 10 000 base units. For the broker with the standard lot = 100,000 base units the minimum deposit, to provide an acceptable risk, it is desirable to increase in 10 times.
