Indicator Overview

The market captures liquidity through two main methods:

Fake Breakouts (SFP) – These false breakouts deceive traders into taking incorrect positions.
Sweeps (Sweep) – These occur when liquidity is drawn in the opposite direction of the prevailing trend.

These liquidity movements frequently trigger strong reversals and the formation of Fair Value Gaps (FVG). The ICT 2022 Model Indicator efficiently detects these structural shifts, confirming trading signals by marking buy opportunities with green arrows and sell opportunities with red arrows.

Indicator in an Uptrend

In an uptrend, as illustrated in the AUD/USD price chart, liquidity is first absorbed beneath key support levels before the price resumes its upward momentum. This leads to a Change of Character (CHoCH) in market structure.
Upon identifying the latest SFP, the indicator evaluates FVGs in the direction of the bullish trend and generates a buy signal once confirmation criteria are met.

Indicator in a Downtrend

In a downtrend, as shown in the AUD/CHF price chart, liquidity is initially absorbed above major resistance levels. This triggers a price reversal, leading to bearish momentum and ultimately resulting in a Change of Character (CHoCH).
