So far, the EA is performing in live trading exactly as it did in the backtest results. If it manages to repeat similar results over the next four months, it would represent an unprecedented performance. Hopefully, it will continue this way. So far, the EA is performing in live trading exactly as it did in the backtest results. If it manages to repeat similar results over the next four months, it would represent an unprecedented performance. Hopefully, it will continue this way. A quick note about backtests: to ensure they are reliable, you should use the “Every tick based on real ticks” option, as it is the one that simulates an EA’s results with 100% accuracy.
Keep in mind that the downside of this option is that the broker’s historical data is limited, and in the best-case scenario, we only have a few months available.
