Engulfing strategy

HTF

Min candles in direction to be considered trend (3 or 4)

Can have up and down candles in the same trend this does not change bias

If after engulf and trend change next candle is engulf we go back to original bias

Max amount of candles valid for engulf

Max amount of candles valid for engulf reversal

Until there is a valid engulfing the trend stays the same

If the trend changes and there was no engulfing a breach of a valid fractal changes trend bias the same as engulfing. (HTF & MTF Only) - (Optional setting)

A valid fractal must be a minimum and maximum number of candles away from current candle. Fractal must not have already been breached. (HTF & MTF Only)

Trading inline with HTF & MTF engulfing trend any candle in opposite direction to trend englufed with candle close will produce entry at market.

option for set pip sl and tp

sl and tp using candle. Example for sell trade stop placed at high of candle or previous candle which has been engulfed. If its a two candle engulf then the high out of the 3 candles would be used.

tp would be placed on risk:reward ratio based on pips risked

optional setting to use min & maximum pips of engulf candle for trade to be valid (including both candles if 2 candle engulf)

optional min & max stop loss pips regardless of size of engulf

Break even based on pips moved

Stop trail based on pips moved after break even

break even and trail stop based on risk reward pips moved eg at 1:1 move to break even

Optional recovery trade setting which when a trade is opened a pending order is made for the opposite direction

when a trade reaches break even the recovery trade order is cancelled

the recovery trade works as entry at previous trades sl and sl at previous trades entry

this does not use martingale but can have the option for lot multiplier
