I am looking for an experienced MQL5 developer to help me finalize and optimize an Expert Advisor (EA) for the FTMO challenge. I have already built a significant portion of the code, but it requires further refinement and optimization to ensure it functions according to the trading strategy I intend to use. I am happy to share all the resources, including the current code, reference materials, and detailed explanations of how I want the strategy to work.
The goal is to automate a strategy based on liquidity, order blocks, fair value gaps (FVGs), and the Accumulation, Manipulation, and Distribution (AMD) concept, targeting 3:1 risk-to-reward trades. The strategy should work by analyzing multiple timeframes, using the H4 for trend confirmation and M15 for precision entries. Accumulation phases will be detected using the Average True Range (ATR), and the strategy will avoid trades during low volatility or sideways market conditions. Entries will be based on liquidity sweeps and confirmed by market conditions on the lower timeframes. Stop losses will be placed at the opposite edge of the order blocks, while take profit levels will be set to a minimum 3:1 risk-to-reward ratio, targeting untapped liquidity zones like unmitigated FVGs or untapped highs/lows.
The key tasks include reviewing and optimizing the existing code, implementing ATR-based filters, and using moving averages for trend confirmation. The EA must have risk management controls to ensure trades respect FTMO’s maximum drawdown and daily loss rules. Additionally, the strategy must be capable of placing trades efficiently with low latency and ideal slippage handling, and the EA should comply with FTMO’s trading volume limits and server restrictions.
I will provide detailed documentation and reference materials to clarify the strategy's concepts, including order blocks, liquidity inducements, FVGs, and AMD. I am looking for a developer who can assess the complexity of this project and deliver a robust and effective EA. Experience in building EAs for FTMO or similar proprietary trading firms is preferred.
