Entry Candle Late Entry Issue:
This job is to filter the unwanted/late entry in the Entry candle indicator.
We use Zigzag_Custom indicator to solve this.
Buffers to read from Zigzag Custom:
1. ADR Pips (Buffer 6)
2. Swing (Buffer 60)
ADR pips: The number of ADR pips for a pair on a particular day.
Swing: 1,2,3,4
Swing Recent Swing Name Valid for Category
1 HH Higher High Sell X
2 LL Lower Low Buy X
3 HL Higher Low Buy Y
4 LH Lower High Sell Y
Buffers to Read from Entry Candle Indicator:
1. Direction Arr (Buffer 2)
Inputs to be added in Entry Candle Indicator:
1. Enable ADR Swing Filter: True/False
2. Maximum X Swing ADR % Allowed: 15%
3. Maximum Y Swing ADR % Allowed: 10%
Working:
1. When Entry Candle indicator prints the value as 1, it means buy arrow and for sell it is -1.
2. The job is to filter the late entries in the indicator.
3. When direction arrow prints the value as 1, the recent swing on zigzag will be either 2 or 3.
4. If it is 2, it is a LL then we allow 15% of ADR (X)
5. Check the LL close and also the direction arrow close and identify the difference in pips.
If LL close: 110
If Direction arrow close: 150
Difference: 150-110 =40
6. If ADR = 100, then we allow only 15% of ADR: which is 15
But here, the difference is 40.
So, the direction arrow buffer is not allowed to print as 1 and should be marked as 0 and no arrows to be printed.
If the difference is less than 15, it is allowed to print as 1 and should be marked as 1.
7. For sell:
Recent swing will be either 1 or 4 (HH or LH) (X and Y)
If recent swing is Y, it means we allow only 10% of ADR
If LL close = 110
And direction arr will be -1 and if that close is at 70
LL close – direction arr = 110-70 =40
If ADR =100 and 10% of ADR = 10. But here ADR is 40 pips. So, arrow will not be printed and buffer will be marked as 0.
If in the case, the difference Is less than 10, then entry is allowed.
